My immediate response to the opinion of a person who believes education doesn’t matter would be to have them look around. The way world economics are today, not only is it necessary to attend college, but it may very soon become critical. In order to live a lifestyle that we are accustomed to today, we have to move along with new standards so we can continue to live this way tomorrow. Prices for goods and services continue to rise, but the salaries for lower class jobs remain the same. If you do not move forward with the world, you’ll stay left behind possibly in poverty.
The value of an education is much more than a degree. It is an opportunity to live a fulfilling lifestyle, and bring along everyone that is close to you. It may take a lot of money now, but looking back it will be a fraction of what you can be earning with a college degree.
I feel like you need a real life example. This essay is too general and it says nothing about you and how you have experienced that your opinion is truth. If you used examples from your family, friends, or teachers that can prove your point, that will help make your essay stand out! The problem with the way it is now, is that anyone could write this essay, and you need to be a part of it, so that they see a quick picture of why you value education.
